Whatever hope in humanity I previously had, has no been gone. ~Curious Poker Chip 12:41 p.m., July 18th, 2013

EDIT: I have the date of the episode from Simpsons showrunner Al Jean's twitter [1]. I am aware he says "I believe", but I think it's strong enough evidence because last year's premiere was on the 29th, and the year after on the 30th. ~Curious Poker Chip 5:56 p.m. June 4th, 2014 (Pacific)

Possible, but FOX could still pull a "Menace II Secret Society" (The Cleveland Show) and make it the "official" season premier and still play an episode before that. --Buckimion (talk) 01:08, June 5, 2014 (UTC)

I am unfamiliar with The Cleveland Show, but I guess that's true. ~Curious Poker Chip 6:12 p.m. June 4th, 2014 (Pacific)

Chris and Brian?

How do we know they're going to be in it? It's very likely, but until we have any official evidence we can't say they will. General Ironbeak (talk) 20:46, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

Let me worry about that. --Buckimion (talk) 21:18, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

According to the episode list page, the production code is BACX23. Is this legit? Because if it is, it should be added to the page. Argulor (talk) 05:01, July 4, 2014 (UTC)

Not sure, there is just too much bullshit floating around. Just hold everything until FOX makes it official, not that you have a choice anymore. --Buckimion (talk) 11:56, July 4, 2014 (UTC)

So now it's offical that it's BACX22/BACX23? Odd. Usually it only goes up to 22. But that would logically tell us that BACX21 and 20 are "Peter and Lois Open a Store" and "Brian the Closer" Argulor (talk) 06:11, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Premiere date

TVLine announced this will premiere 9/28 and it will be an hour-long special, making it the third non-Star Wars hour-long. - Jasonbres (talk) 20:02, July 10, 2014 (UTC)

Nothing goes in until announced by FOX. I've heard too many wild-ass guesses. --Buckimion (talk) 20:06, July 10, 2014 (UTC)

Scratch that. FOX made it official. --Buckimion (talk) 20:06, July 10, 2014 (UTC)

Pawtucket Ale being Duff

Is this for real or is it supposed to be a joke put in by the writers? No one edits my stuff. (talk) 20:46, August 8, 2014 (UTC)

Until the episode airs, nothing is being listed for that. Most likely though, they'll probably discover that both are a parody of a third (fake) brand or something really stupid. --Buckimion (talk) 23:42, August 8, 2014 (UTC)

Yeardley Smith

The voice of Lisa Simpson has stated that Meg's "special talent" is that she can play the saxophone better than Lisa can. Should this be noted in the plot at least or is it fine the way it is? [2] ~Curious Poker Chip 8:23 p.m. August 11th, 2014 (Pacific, RIP: Robin Williams)

At this point, let's wait until FOX makes the official plot announcement. --Buckimion (talk) 03:31, August 12, 2014 (UTC)

Hmm, they didn't include Kavner or Azaria's name in the "Guest Stars" section of The Futon Critic. I wonder if that means that their storylines were cut from the final broadcast? ~Curious Poker Chip 7:53 p.m. September 3rd 2014 (Pacific)

I guess they didn't feel they were "special", but I'll be surprised if they are not in it...especially Kavner. --Buckimion (talk) 02:56, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

I think they'll be in it. Perhaps a Lois-Marge story was thought of but scrapped, kinda like "Halloween on Spooner Street" but instead is shortened to a cameo appearance. ~Curious Poker Chip 8:01 p.m. September 3rd, 2014 (Pacific)

I wouldn't want to be in someone's shoes if John Q. Fan finds out that a good scene with Marge and Lois was whacked for a chick...err, Homer & Peter fight when the DVD deleted scenes come out. --Buckimion (talk) 03:05, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Santa's Little Helper appears according to these screenshots [3] ~Curious Poker Chip 10:04 a.m. September 6th, 2014 (Pacific)

More characters

Still reading the EW article. It says that Nelson Muntz and Santa's Little Helper will be making appearances. - Jasonbres (talk) 14:54, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

At this point just wait until they are seen. A whole lot of assumptions have gone out the window since the press release came out. --Buckimion (talk) 15:20, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Subplots for Chris and Brian revealed.

For Chris, he will suck on a pacifier with Maggie and as for Brian, he will teach Santa's Little Helper about clearing out his dog food and not making a mess.

-Dodge Davis, 2:19pm (Pacific Standard Time)

We have the OFFICIAL FOX plot posted. Those are likely side jokes and not important plot points. --Buckimion (talk) 21:24, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

I meant to say new pictures but, mistakes happen. BTW, there are more Homer and Peter scenes shown but, everyone might know that.

-Dodge Davis, 2:54pm (Pacific Standard Time)

The magazine pictures are not considered official. Besides, FOX will be issuing the official pictures any day now. --Buckimion (talk) 21:56, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

Apparently that rape joke that Stewie made garnered controversy from our friends at the Parental Television Council. Geez. [4] ~Curious Poker Chip 2:45 p.m. September 24th, 2014 (Pacific)

All Simpsons Fans should know this improtant fact.

This crossover takes place between the Simpsons Season 24 and Season 25. It's true. Bart gives us a hint that it takes place during season 24 and/or between season 24 and season 25.

Call someone who cares. This isn't The Simpsons. --Buckimion (talk) 23:14, September 29, 2014 (UTC)

Did anyone notice that in the begin credits for this episode it said 'Part 1 only' for some of the creative people. Does this mean there is going to be a 'Part 2', or do they mean something else, like: Part 1 is before the first commercial break, or something like that. 14:38, September 30, 2014 (UTC)Smaug the Great

No. The first half of the episode dealing with the car theft is "Part 1". The second half with the lawsuit and fight is "Part 2". --Buckimion (talk) 14:41, September 30, 2014 (UTC)

Simpsons characters.

Do you think that all the characters on the page that are "Also appearing" that are from The Simpsons should have last names as well as first names? Just seems kinda inconsistent to me. Also Happy Belated New Year. ~Curious Poker Chip January 3rd, 2016 (Pacific)

I think it is already crowded enough. Few will wade through that mess and those that determined will already know everything about the characters. --Buckimion (talk) 23:02, January 3, 2016 (UTC)
