Ashlee Synchson

Ashlee Nicole Wentz (née Simpson; October 3, 1984) is an American pop singer-songwriter, dancer and actress. She is commonly known by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Simpson-Wentz, who is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, rose to prominence in mid-2004 through the success of her number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show. Simpson received widespread notoriety when she attempted to lip-sync with a pre-recorded vocal track on Saturday Night Live in October 2004.

The Jude Law-hosted appearance is parodied in "Brian Goes Back to College". In the episode, she is revealed to be lip-synching to Paul Robeson's 1936 film version of "Show Boat". Her embarrassment leads her to awkwardly dance onstage and off it.

She was seen attending the Grammys in "Saving Private Brian".
