Oh Quagmire

Barry Manilow (born June 17, 1943) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, producer, conductor, entertainer, and performer.

Peter Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, Cleveland Brown, and Joe Swanson went to a concert of his in "Back to the Woods" after a failed attempt to hide their feelings about his music when they heard about the concert during a news broadcast. They begin singing "Ready to Take a Chance Again", which transitions into Manilow singing the song in concert. He altered his 1974 song "Mandy" into "Quagmire", serenading Glenn with improvised lyrics. Manilow provides his own voice.

In the DVD version of Blue Harvest, while planning the attack on the Death Star, Judd Nelson jokingly asks if Manilow knows if a character raids his wardrobe.

"Mandy" was among the songs mentioned by Brian Griffin as a song named after a girl in "Ocean's Three and a Half".
