Futurama is an animated American sci-fi sitcom created by Matt Groening, who also created The Simpsons. The show was originally developed by Groening and David X. Cohen for the FOX network.

The series follows the adventures of a late 20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy, Philip J. Fry, who after being cryogenically frozen for a thousand years, finds employment at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company in the 31st century.

In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, a reporter asks Stewie if FOX has any plans to bring back Futurama. After finding out the reporter is from Entertainment Weekly magazine, his neck is then snapped by Stewie.

Bender, a character from the show, is seen in the cantina in Blue Harvest.

He is also one of those who heard the dirty joke in "The Splendid Source". Joe, Quagmire, and Peter travel aboard the Planet Express ship to talk to him.

While in Italy in "Boopa-Dee Bappa-Dee", Peter attempts to use the guide on the television remote, turning Stewie into a host of past and present Animation Domination characters including Bender.

When Lois drags Stewie's Time Machine out of his room in "Throw It Away", the time machine at one point takes them to the future, with Chris being replaced by Bender.
