Harland David Sanders, better known as Colonel Sanders (September 9, 1890 – December 16, 1980) was an American entrepreneur who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). His image is omnipresent in the chain's advertising and packaging, and his name is sometimes used as a synonym for the KFC product or restaurant itself.

In "Dammit Janet!" Peter Griffin travels to Kentucky to visit him. To his disappointment one of the employees at KFC tells him he died, but Peter can't quite understand him.

Foghorn Leghorn enters a restaurant commenting on how good the food smells only to have his head cut off by Colonel Sanders in "Back to the Woods".
