Dan Povenmire was a member of the production team for Family Guy, who left the show at the end of its fifth season to pursue his own show "Phineas and Ferb."

He was an illustrations director for the show for its first four series' and was notably reponsible for all the music related sequences.

He worked on other nameworthy shows such as 'The Simpsons', 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog', 'TMNT', 'Ren & Stimpy', 'Rocko's Modern Life', 'Hey, Arnold', 'The Angry Beavers', 'CatDog' and 'SpongeBob SquarePants'.

He is also Rhythm Guitarist and vocalist for the LA-based rock band 'Keep Left'

He is particularly known for directing the first three 'Road' episodes of Family Guy. (Road to Rhode Island, Road to Europe, and Road to Rupert.)
