Dr. Jewish is the veterinarian for Brian Griffin and Adrien Beaky in "Long John Peter", treating many different animals. He also served for Mayor Adam West's cricket. Anna worked for him as an intern, and it is where she met Chris Griffin.

He is mentioned in Family Guy Online, where when the player completes a quest offered by Brian and Stewie to get various building materials for the house they're building in South Spooner Street, Stewie asks the player if they'd like to stick their finger in Brian's butt; to which Brian objects, stating that he'd only let his doctor do that, and Stewie says he's not a doctor, but a vet.
