- Goy means "gentile" in Hebrew and in Yiddish.
- In "Brian Sings and Swings", Peter had pretended to be a Hassidic Jew.
- At the end of this episode, Jesus Christ states that all religions are complete crap, to which Brian replies by saying "Thank you." This is most likely because it was revealed that he is an Atheist in the episode "Love, Blactually".
- This is the second Family Guy episode to deal with Judaism as a main focus, after When You Wish Upon a Weinstein, though not as controversially. Max Weinstein appears in both episodes
- Chris is able to understand and communicate with Stewie.
- With the exception of the Indiana Jones chant, Stewie recites the blessings over the Pesach (Passover) candles accurately.
- Interestingly enough, Alex Borstein, the voice of Lois, is Jewish as well. Many other members of the cast and crew are Jewish as well.
- Brian mentioned that Quagmire believed that he (Quagmire) was getting the spinoff. However, in "Baby Not On Board", he was one of the first people Cleveland told
- Francis Griffin makes his eighth and most recent appearance.
- Peter relapses into smoking cigarettes in this episode. As of "I Take Thee Quagmire", he hadn't smoked in many years.
- Peter is proven right about Jews going to hell, at least according to Family Guy, when Jesus tells Mort Goldman so in "April in Quahog".
- On the DVD version, Peter's genital area can be seen. The first time was in "Airport '07".
