Seth MacFarlane to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Variety reports that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Others to be inducted in the 2015 Walk of Fame class include Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Peter Jackson, Eugenio Derbez and Daniel Radcliffe.
From the television category, The Simpsons producer James L. Brooks, celebrity chef Bobby Flay, Seth MacFarlane, NCIS: Los Angeles star [Chris O’Donnell, Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, former Saturday Night Live favorite Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa and Modern Family star Sofia Vergara will receive stars for their work.

In their bid for a "Best Animated" show Emmy, Family Guy sent out a flier poking fun at the scandal involving the closure of a bridge to Fort Lee, New Jersey which saw the bridge closed as political payback for the Mayor of Fort Lee refusing to support Chris Christies' bid for Governor. Federal prosecutors are investigating to see exactly how far up the chain of command the closures were ordered.[1]
FOX gives Peter an official Instagram Page

To mark the release of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff mobile game, FOX has given Peter his own Instagram page @peterpumpkineater69. The account is scheduled to stay active the rest of the year as a way to promote both the game and the show. A spokeperson also added that fans might even find hints at future episodes if they watch the Instagram pics closely.[2]
