David K. Lynch (born January 20, 1946) is an American filmmaker and visual artist. He has won several awards for his directing and is famous for directing Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, The Elephant Man, Mulholland Drive, Wild at Heart, and many others.
He provides the voice and likeness of Gus, the bartender at The Broken Stool in The Cleveland Show. He reprised that role in "The Splendid Source".
He appears as himself to add his own bizarre twist to the holidays in How David Lynch Stole Christmas in "How the Griffin Stole Christmas".
