Plot: When Peter wins a church raffle for a week in a fantasy baseball camp at Fenway Park, his friends try to convince him to let them tag along but following Brian's advice to avoid hurting the feelings of the friends he doesn't select, as well as to avoid being shown up by them, Lois is chosen instead. When they arrive, Lois is invited to join as Peter's guest was also intended to play and they need the extra player. Lois actually has some skill, while Peter repeatedly embarrasses himself. When Lois is selected to play second base while Peter is chosen to run against her, his attempt to impress the guys with his slide ends up breaking Lois' leg.

Angry with him for harming Lois, Peter is kicked off the team. When she visits him in the locker room as he is cleaning out his stuff, he apologies and explains that he was always the fat kid no one wanted for sports and his dream was to get a hit at Fenway, but has instead continued his loser ways. Lois assures him that he is a winner with her and the family and gets him accepted back onto the team as she endured sexual harassment from all of the baseball players, threatening them with jail if he doesn't get to play.

Meanwhile, when Peter and Lois head off to Boston, Lois starts to put Brian in charge until Meg objects, and is put in charge instead. Brian tries to warn her about Stewie's willfulness, but she dismisses it as he sprays her with water from the garden hose. When she wants to change his clothes later, he threatens to defecate on the wall so she puts him in 'time out.' When Brian refuses to intervene after eating a pot cookie, he escapes and runs away, and Meg fails to check in on him for six hours. She becomes frantic when they are unable to locate him, which is exacerbated when Lois wants the kids to join them at Peter's game. But when they enter the house, they find that Stewie has returned. While still angry with Meg for frightening him, he has forgotten her name. She apologizes for scaring him as well as forgetting about him while he was in time out and they reconcile.

In Peter's big chance at the plate, he gets a small infield hit and starts to run to first base, until his muscles shut down and he collapses. Encouraged by his family, he gets back up to continue his run, and despite two torn hamstrings and a ruptured groin, manages to score as the third base player, running to field Peter's short hit, collapses with a heart attack and is seen in the end being covered with a sheet. During the car ride home, Peter wrecks from laughing at the puppet show the kids are forced to put on to cover a lie told while Stewie was missing, breaking Lois' other leg. Due to the smell, he refuses to let her sleep in the bedroom.
