Doug becomes Chris' history teacher in "Stewie, Chris & Brian's Excellent Adventure", when Chris kills the ancestor of his original teacher. When the boys are denied access to a lifeboat on the RMS Titanic by Nigel Harpington, Chris bulls his way onto the lifeboat, shoving Nigel out of the way and into the water where he drowns. The change in history results in Teacher Doug, who doesn't believe in tests, becoming the replacement.
