Ted Knight (born Tadeusz Wladyslaw Konopka December 7, 1923 – August 26, 1986) was an American actor best known for playing the comedic role of Ted Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Henry Rush on Too Close for Comfort, and Judge Elihu Smails in Caddyshack.
Knight appears as Judge Smalls in archive footage from Caddyshack in It's A Trap!, expressing impatience with everyone's signals to attack Jabba the Hutt.
He was also known for being the announcer from the Super Friends. However, in "The Perfect Castaway", the announcer doesn't look enough like Knight or his successor William Woodson to be identified as either of them.
