Washington in episode FG211, "A Picture's Worth a Thousand Bucks"

  • When Peter tries to show off Meg's bird-calling talents for money, he does so in WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK. This is ironic because the Greenwich Village park is home to many people who break-dance, do magic shows, play guitar, and exhibit other talents for money. We know it is Washington Square Park because of the landmark giant arch shown at the beginning of the scene. The arch features carvings of George Washington (1732-1799).

Washington in episode FG401, "North by North Quahog"

  • The episode takes place in very diverse locations; New England, New York, and South Dakota (Mount Rushmore). Mount Rushmore is a historical monument where the faces of four famous and influential Presidents of the United States have been carved; George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. They are 60 feet tall, 500 feet up. Construction started in 1927. They were carved over 14 years at the expense of a mere $1 million dollars.
