  • Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi is the basis for this episode. The title is a reference to the line said by Admiral Ackbar in the film.
  • The scene with Lando Calrissian having a Star of David on his arm references to the ones that Jewish citizens had to wear in Germany before World War II. Klaus as Admiral Ackbar also references the Holocaust when he mentions "setting up" the Ewok relocation camps.
  • C3PO chants the lyrics of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme while speaking to the Ewoks in their own language.
  • Both of Pee Wee Herman's appearances reference his film Pee Wee's Big Adventure in which his prized bicycle is stolen. When making a cameo in a film-within-the-film about his adventures, his voice is dubbed by another actor who makes the paging announcement.
  • The kid licking Han Solo's ass and getting it stuck is from A Christmas Story.
  • Han Solo hears his laughter and thinks its the 7-Up guy, a reference to a spokesman for the soft drink in the 1970s and 80s.
  • The chicken coming out of the Ewok's trumpet refers to Gonzo's opening theme gag on The Muppet Show.
  • In the AT-ST Walker, the song "Mess Around" by Ray Charles is played while the driver dances in his seat and the passenger sleeps. This copies a scene from the film Planes, Trains & Automobiles with John Candy & Steve Martin.
  • The way R2-D2 reacts to Obi-Wan's spirit is similar to the way Shaggy and Scooby react upon seeing one in the many, popular Scooby-Doo! series and movies.
  • While firing the cannons on the AT-ST, Chewbacca says "kachow" and "skadoosh", which are the catchphrases of Lightning McQueen from the film Cars and of Po from the film Kung Fu Panda, respectively.
  • When Luke asks Obi Wan if Darth Vader is really his father, Obi Wan responds that it's either him or Paul Reiser. This is the central plot of the TV show My Two Dads, in which two men do not know which of them is the father of the girl they are raising.
  • When the Ewoks worship C3PO, they call him "Gold Guy", the logo for LucasArts is a Gold Guy.
