Jasper, also known as Brian's gay cousin, is a gay dog living in Los Angeles, and a self-declared rice-queen. He works at Club Med, and let Brian stay in his house while Brian was a Hollywood "director." He and his fiancee Ricardo visit Brian and the family at Quahog and plans to get married in the garden, which Lois becomes unhappy with as she does not agree with gay marriage. Mayor West decides to ban gay marriage, which means Jasper and Ricardo cannot get married. Brian takes matters into his own hands and gets people to sign a petition in order to get people to rebel against Mayor West's decision. However Chris burns it and Brian ends up taking Mayor West hostage. But Lois who notices her views were forced upon her by her parents and that they were wrong, rushes to the scene and gets Brian to free him. Mayor West decides to allow gay marriage and Jasper and Ricardo get married.
