Jim Caviezel (born September 26, 1968 in Mount Vernon, Washington) is an actor who is best known for playing Jesus in Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ."
As a Family Guy character, he played Jesus in the preview for Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This" with Chris Tucker. Chris called Jesus crazy and he responded "that's what my ex-wife said". Trailer announcer Don LaFontaine had a problem pronouncing his last name.
