Majel Barrett (Feburary 23, 1932-December 18, 2008) was the voice of the ship's computer in the TV series Star Trek and was also seen in several episodes as Nurse Chapel, Dr. McCoy's assistant who was secretly in love with Mr. Spock. She was also a recurring character on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Lwaxana Troi. She is also well known for being Mrs. Gene Roddenberry and oversaw her husband's production company, which still produces popular science fiction shows like "Earth: Final Conflict" and "Andromeda". For Family Guy, she voiced the computer in Stewie's ship.
