Maria was a local minority, news reporter for Quahog Channel 5. Tom Tucker repeatedly messes up on the pronunciation of her name. Where Diane corrects him. Her first and only appearance was in One if by Clam, Two if by Sea, where she reports on Peter's arrest for arson.
