Marvin Astley is the cousin of singer Rick Astley.
In "Meet the Quagmires", he and his band play at the Newport Country Club Dance in 1984 which Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, Lois Pewterschmidt, and Ernie the Giant Chicken attended. He sings "Earth Angel". While Brian is performing "Never Gonna Give You Up", a song that would become his cousin's one-hit-wonder, he calls him about the "mediocre generic sound" he's been looking for.
He is a parody of Marvin Berry, the lead singer of Marvin Berry and the Starlighters from Back to the Future. During Marty McFly's performance of "Johnny B. Goode" in the film, Berry calls his cousin Chuck in a similar fashion.
He is voiced by Luke Adams.
