"Merry Old Land of Oz" is a parody of the song of the same name from the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. In a cutaway from "Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Jr. High" parodying the HBO TV show Oz, a group of prison inmates sing this while showering together. The song would be parodied again as "Let's Go Montreal the Way" in "Bigfat".
