Mount Rushmore is a massive sculpture on the side of a mountainface in South Dakota. From left to right, the monement features the faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, respectively. A crew of hundreds of men led by Gutzon Borglum constructed the monument between 1927 and 1941 to represent the first 150 years of American history.
The monument has a rare speaking role in "North by North Quahog," Thomas Jefferson refers to Lincoln as "Frankenstein." Peter visited Mt. Rushmore when Lois worked as a flight attendant in "Dammit Janet."
