• This episode brings the conclusion to Brian's longest female relationship surpassed only by his unrequited love infatuation with Lois.
• When Brian argues with Peter and Lois about his commitment with Jillian, you see a promotional banner with The Simpsons at the bottom. Quagmire comes in chasing after Marge Simpson during the scene. They have sex off-scene and go for "round 2" in a cutaway of the Simpson's household. Homer, the husband see this and Quagmire shoot him as well as the rest of the family one by one and include the baby. The scene when Quagmire is having sex with Marge is cut on FOX, but not on Adult Swim and the DVD.
• This episode continues the sexual dubious lifestyle of Stewie no longer is his preference in the realm of homosexuality but now it can be confirmed in this episode with a more direct explanation that he also has interest in bestiality.
• Stewie tries to fix Brian up with Joanna, who also appeared as a librarian in "Petergeist".
• At the end of the episode, Chris insults Brian in a different dialog. On FOX, he called him a douchebag, and on Adult Swim, TBS and DVD, he called him an asshole.
• Jillian says Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch is doing a skating duet with Sebastian the Crab from The Little Mermaid in a production of Disney On Ice.
• The movies that Chris and Carl were discussing are Adventures in Babysitting, Leaving Las Vegas, Cocktail, Event Horizon, A Beautiful Mind and Career Opportunities. The three former films starred Elisabeth Shue and the two latter films starred Jennifer Connelly.
