Mrs. Quagmire is the mother of Glenn Quagmire, Brenda Quagmire and Gary Quagmire and wife of Dan Quagmire. Plus she is grandmother of Quagmire's illegitimate children. She lives in a trailer with her cat, Mittens.

Her first appearance was in "Fore Father" where she is seen in a flashback breastfeeding Glenn.

She apparently has the same sexual appetite as her own son. In  Quagmire is one of two finalists of the TV show The Bachelorette, he takes her home to meet his mother. He tells his mother to stop screaming at him, telling her that if she wants to participate in a three-way with Glenn and the bachelorette she needs to change her tone after yelling at Glenn about Mittens in "Brian the Bachelor".

Mrs. Quagmire was voiced by Alex Borstein.
