The Quahog Cemetery is where Thelma Griffin is laid to rest after dying from a stroke in "Mom's the Word". When Peter tells her friend Evelyn that he can't see her anymore because of her sexual advances, he goes to Thelma's graveside to seek solace. Evelyn meets him there and explains that Peter was the first man to spend time with her since her husband Walter had passed away seventeen years prior and she went overboard. After they reconcile, they hug but Peter snaps her spine, killing her. He leaves her on a bench in the care of a cemetery groundskeeper as he slips away.
