Quest for Fur is the title of a porno film that Lois Griffin made when she was in college. In "And I'm Joyce Kinney", She meets local news anchor Joyce Kinney who gets her to drunkenly admit making the film. Lois is humiliated and ostracized after being featured in an exposé. Lois finds out the story was in retaliation for a prank she pulled in high school. Depressed, Brian tells her to confront her problems head on. Lois arrives at church the following week and shows the film to the congregation, winning their approval.

The film is a parody of the movie Quest for Fire, with its plot surrounding the struggle for control of fire by early humans. Lois' film has the stereotypical low production values of porno films including the introduction of a pizza delivery man wearing furs that looks suspiciously like Stewie Griffin.
