Rhea Perlman (born March 31, 1948) is an American actress, best known for her role as Carla Tortelli on the sitcom Cheers and was married to Danny DeVito. DeVito and Pearlman would later separate in 2012.

DeVito and Perlman appear in "Whistle While Your Wife Works", where DeVito exploits Perlman's desperation during his marriage proposal.
