Ron MacFarlane is the father of Seth and Rachael MacFarlane and the widower of Ann MacFarlane. He played the guitar in Stewie Griffin's performance of "There's a Hole in the Bottom of the Sea" in "Whistle While Your Wife Works".
He appeared in live-action to narrate "Road to the North Pole" because according to him, Kenny Rogers was unavailable because he was dead. Often he would interrupt the story to complain about a broken toy, ask for weed from the viewing audience, or burp. While attempting to do a "real" fart rather than a fake sound effect, he apparently poops himself and asks for clean pants and a new chair.
