Soundwave is a character from the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon made back in 1984. He is introduced in The Courtship of Stewie's Father, in a one-off appearance where he receives employee of the month from Peter's boss Angela, after Opie, who routinely gets the award, is promoted. It is revealed that Soundwave has a wife named Denise, and that they met in a Christian chat room. He carries a transforming picture of them around in his tape-deck mid section.
