Speed Racer is the main character from the old anime (japanese animation) cartoon Speed Racer.
He and his father appeared in The Son Also Draws just before the soapbox derby. After their (very common) argument about Speed racing in a race, with trademark poor lip-synch, and the prefacing of every statement with "Ah-ha", Pop confessed he was not really his father, which Speed was shocked to discover. Later they were outside the window, laughing at how the Griffin's going to New York didn't affect them.
