Steve Smith and the Nakeds, or simply The Nakeds to their fans are a Rhode Island native band that has celebrated more than thirty-five esteemed years of performing throughout New England and elsewhere. During that time, the rhythm & blues powerhouse has thrived with their distinct infectious blend of rhythm, brass, and fun. The band has shared the touring stage with Bruce Springsteen's saxophonist, Clarence Clemons for a series of critically acclaimed performances. They have been featured on television, appearing on MTV's video countdown program "The Basement Tapes".

Their song "I'm Huge (and the babes Go wild)" was featured in a music video of Family Guy clips presented in the Family Guy Volume 6 DVD release.

Band front man and namesake Steve Smith is the older brother of Family Guy writer/executive producer Danny Smith.[1]
