Will this episode air December of 2013?

No promises. Dec. 8 & 15 are not yet filled though. --Buckimion (talk) 21:13, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

Stewie's Plan[]

I think I know the one and only thing Stewie wants for Christmas: Brian back. So he's going to rebuild the time machine and prevent Brian's death. BNSF1995, Alive since 1995 23:12, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

I brought up that exact point in the blog post. Not counting on Brian himself, but the titanium capacitor he needs. --Buckimion (talk) 23:17, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

Remember that in "Life of Brian", he went forward in time to get a Christmas toy before it came out? His plan could be to go wait for himself to show up, then either tell himself what is going to happen (so it can be prevented) or steal the return pad from himself. 129.93.5.130 01:11, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

Might I ask, where did you get confirmation regarding the Stewie storyline of this episode? It sounds promising! 2.24.73.221 11:14, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

FOX put out a press release yesterday. Futon Critic posts them publicly[1] so anyone can see them but you do have to be wary as the release staff tend to be lazy with the character listings and can also be very misleading when it comes to descriptions. --Buckimion (talk) 12:55, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

I agree with one of the contributors, Stewie said that he traveled several episodes into the future, or the Christmas Special, to purchase a toy. Stewie knows the exact time he arrived, so he could go warn his younger self from awhile back to not destroy the time machine. Kinglimerules339back (talk) 17:22, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

I firmly believe that is a throw away gag, and will never be utilized in the future episodes. --Buckimion (talk) 17:46, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

Put lois in there its obvious shes gonna be in it

She doesn't go in until she appears in a promo. We've had way too many wrong guesses of late. --Buckimion (talk) 04:52, December 3, 2013 (UTC)

Or a future Stewie could just jump back in time and save him.  It would really take Stewie a long time to rebuild it, they'd probably in the process have to age him, and since that is really out of character for the show and the timeflow it's been following, I think if they did make that choice, they'd make future Stewie do the deed and team up with younger Stewie, this in itself would not break the timeflow, but just keep it trucking on.  But hey, I'm just spitballing here

SPOILER ALERT![]

http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/12/05/family-guy-brian-return/ - Jasonbres (talk) 21:26, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

That doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know. They are taking a shot in the dark just as I did. --Buckimion (talk) 23:48, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

It says on Brian's Wikipedia page that he will return in Christmas Guy. Look it up if you don't believe me

Wikipedia has no admins that control what other idiots put on the pages. Someone will likely remove it while others fight to keep it in. OUR policy is nothing goes in without solid evidence, not wild-ass wishes and guesses. --Buckimion (talk) 13:59, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia does have admins, and most incorrect information is removed pretty quickly. In fact, it's been shown that Wikipedia is pretty much as accurate as Encyclopedia Brittanica for the most part. And the Wikipedia page doesn't say that he will return, just that he's rumored to return.

They may have an occasional admin, but more often it's wannabes that sit on the content. I've seen firsthand what has happened, and while they usually get things right in the end, they allow too much speculation or BS until something proves them wrong. --Buckimion (talk) 21:20, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Actually, yes, I looked him up just now, and the mention of Brian returning in this episode was gone. It was there, however, so there's probably a 50/50 chance of Brian returning tonight.

50-50 = Either he will or he won't. :D Tune in tonight. --Buckimion (talk) 12:51, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, was Brian in the cast list for the previous episode? (Into Harmony's Way). Also, if they were simply updating it, why wouldn't they add in Vinny's name and remove Cleveland's? Personally, I doubt it's an update, as it would still be a false update. I think it's a late attempt to cover something up. Ah, optimisim :) 90.197.251.83 18:10, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

No Spoilers?[]

Then what about this?: [2]

Please read the article to see what I mean, if you want. Skipper101 (talk)

Yawn. Read OUR summary numbnuts. It is the exact same thing and does NOT promise a return of Brian although a lot of people, including myself, are optimistic. It is still a wild-ass guess not proven by any fact. Read any press release this season starting with "Finders Keepers" [3] and you will see they've listed Cleveland Brown all season long although he has yet to make the transfer. This is the way FOX PR has ALWAYS done this and does not mean a damn thing about Brian's return. --Buckimion (talk) 22:23, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Brian Griffin is listed in the cast. If he wasn't going to be in it, then he wouldn't be listed. It's logic. Skipper101 (talk) 22:34, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

<facepalm> --Buckimion (talk) 22:36, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

I am really excited for this episode. I'm REALLY hoping Brian will return. The show just isn't right without him. This week's episode was overall ok, but the family scenes just felt AWKWARD! What's really interesting is we haven't gotten any images from it yet. The ep is 4 days away, so I'm wondering if they're purposely keeping it under wraps.

168.156.1.178 19:04, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Even though by now we've gotten promo images, I'm interested in whether or not "under wraps" was an intended pun for a Christmas-themed episode. Trey810 (talk) 00:04, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

I KNEW IT!!!![]

We all knew it: Brian returned in this episode! See? He wouldn't have appeared if he wasn't listed in the cast. I told you so, I told you so! Skipper101 (talk) 05:48, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

I knew all along Seth was going to say something like "Did you think we'd really kill off Brian for good?". Lord O' Darkness (talk) 13:46, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

There's something strange about this...[]

Don't get me wrong. I like Brian and all, but I might have been one of the few percent who actually thought the death of Brian would make Family Guy a little more interesting. I actually miss seeing Vinny. Could I be the only one thinking that Seth only brought Brian back to shut the fans up? Thieverpedia (talk) 21:53, December 22, 2013 (UTC)

Family Guy don't play with crayons and construction paper. This was planned out long in advance. --Buckimion (talk) 22:25, December 22, 2013 (UTC)

I have to agree with Buckimion. Although I do like Vinnie, there was a cutaway gag in Life of Brian that had Stewie traveling to the future to pick up a new toy on the day it came out. The only reason that scene was included was to give Stewie away to travel back to the past, despite having destroyed his time machine.

error on the page[]

It states that Vinny tricks past-Stewie into removing his backpack and brings it to present-Stewie. That isn't how it went. Vinny tricked past-Stewie into removing his back and present-Stewie stole it. Vinny didn't bring it to him. Stewie took it on his own. 97.76.216.104 10:49, December 26, 2013 (UTC)

Fixed. I got your drift the first time, just realize it's gawd-awful early here and I'll get to things when I can. --Buckimion (talk) 10:52, December 26, 2013 (UTC)
