"Oddly, however, when Brian went door to door petitioning to legalize gay marriage, Herbert was quick to shut the door in his face and exclaim "Pervert!".( which is odd because he is clearly a gay man)." -- at what point does it imply Herbert is gay? its a childish stereotype that pedophiles are always gay or vie versa, so I removed the statement.

Although pedophilia is defined by ones sexual inclination for minors, Herbert is clearly only attracted to males, making him, by definition, gay as well. Note that he also engages in gay relationships with older men in the secret society's closet.

The joke was not intended to be about Herbert being gay, but about him being a pervert. It was ironic that Herbert called Brian a pervert, when Herbert himself is more of a pervert than most gay people Icecreamdif 19:33, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
