I really don't think the title is a reference to anything but the theory as there is no mention of the show in the episode in anyway.
Also, would the priest handing the letter to Brian ALSO be a reference to the Dr. Who episode Blink in which a girl receives a note from her friend who is now living her life out in the 1700s?

Given Family Guy's track record of references to BttF, I'm confident that is the definitive reference and the other is just a similarity. We are not out to provide every single mention of that incidence occurring as I am aware other other similar devices in sci-fi. Likewise with the title, since the staff has already expressed an interest in commentaries and having the cast of tBBT as guests, there is also a high degree of probability that is the source of the title. --Buckimion (talk) 22:45, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
