The Big Lebowski is a 1998 comedy film directed and written by Joel and Ethan Coen and starring Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, David Huddleston, Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Turturro, as well as Sam Elliott as the narrarator. It is loosely based on the 1939 novel The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler. The film has gained a massive cult following since release, and even has a festival, named Lebowski Fest, that is named after the film.

In "Patriot Games", Stewie Griffin parodies the film in the first beating by shoving Brian's head into the toilet yelling "Where's my money, man?!", much like the opening scene of the movie.

The scene was also reused in "Where's My Emmy?" as part of Family Guy's campaign for the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Comedy.
