• This episode reveals Diane Simmons's original name, Diane Seidelman.
• William Shatner shows up to opening night, even though he was killed when Meg ran him over in the episode "I Never Met the Dead Man." He is one of the first to give a standing ovation.
• Peter claims that he has "soul and passion that only comes with hundreds of years of black opression." It's notable that he eventually finds out that one of his ancestors is black.
• When Peter becomes A.N.N.A., it is the same suit he wears in Family Guy:The Video Game.
