"Nel blu dipinto di blu" (English: In the Sky, Painted Blue), popularly known as "Volare" (to fly), is a song recorded by Italian singer-songwriter Domenico Modugno. Written by Franco Migliacci and Domenico Modugno, it was released as a single on 1 February 1958. The song has since been translated and recorded by a wide range of artists.

In "Boopa-Dee Bappa-Dee", the spirit of Dean Martin gives Peter Griffin advice on how to win over Lois after she gets tired of his attitude on a trip to Italy. As he parts company with Peter, he sings "Volare" while riding off on a giant, flying rigatoni.

Volare, oh oh

Cantare, oh oh oh oh

Let's fly way up to the clouds...
